Thanksgiving Day with the Family

We had a great traditional Thanksgiving dinner with most of my family. We were missing Mark and his family but we will see them around Christmas. Amelia we will see in good time. Here is Sara, Robert, Jude and Emma saying grace. Here is a picture of me, Helen, Jeanne and Rochelle toasting to good health with drinks called Poinsettias made with cranberry juice and champagne. Rochelle gave us the cute Fleur de lis shirts so we had to model them. Guess who these guys are. Answer will be at the end of this post.Sara's third birthday is in less than a week so we also celebrated with gifts. Here she is opening presents and her aunts taking tons of pictures. Ola Dora the Explorer.
Emma looks on as Sara opens her present of a red LOVE outfit. We gave the Noah's Ark latch hook rug to Sara which was bitter sweet. It was started from the bottom by Amelia earlier this year. Rochelle had sent it to Amelia while she was sick and said Sara wanted her to make it for her. I finished it and marked the back of it with a ribbon to show how far she had gone. Now here are the bald-headed men we love so much - Dave, Artie and Darryl.

I know this celebration of Thanks was bitter-sweet - I'm glad you were surrounded with family.

Sending our love and prayers, always.

You did a great job on that one! Love the bald heads - Sara's rug is very colorful and photographed well. I remember Amelia saying the sign of a good latch-hook rug is if it looks the same on the back as it does on the front - and it does. Why wouldn't it? :)
