Now Mama's at the Pecan Festival
Dang...since my mama turned 80 you can't keep her home. She was sighted at the St. Rita Pecan Festival today. Mama even drew a crowd...3 daughters, 1 grandson and 2 more nieces, Susie and Jane. Don't be deceived by the festival name...pecans were not plentiful there but lots of festival food like muffalattas, onion mums and stuffed artichokes were.

Yummy. We didn't get to the St. Rita Fair this weekend but we sure did enjoy the music from across the highway. Those onion mums look sinful. Suppose that 80 year old mama treated too huh? Gotta love her. Did you see my cupcakes that I made at the Sugar Shack?
