Thanksgiving 2009

This Thanksgiving, for the first time, my family went out to eat all together. It was Daddy's gift to Mama for her 80th birthday. We had reservations at Andrea's Restaurant in Metairie, LA for 19 people for 11:30 a.m. The head waiter had our table and gave us exceptional service which I was pleasantly surprised. I had always heard of horror stories of going out to eat on a major holiday. The food was delicious and we never felt rushed. We pushed back from the table at around 2:30. We took pictures for the next hour or so and then settled inside to a clean kitchen. What a nice treat. Thanks Daddy and Happy Birthday, once again, Mama. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
