Mardi Gras Day (when we costume) was cold and wet but some birds who flocked together didn't mind.

I did manage to catch a coconut from the Zulu parade.

My sweet future daughter-in-law enjoyed her third New Orleans Mardi Gras.   She caught 2 coconuts and some pretty beads.

Valentines for ME!

 Ellen made Mardi Gras accordion cards for all of us instead of Valentines. It sure looks pretty snazzy on my mantle.

Scrapfest! Fall 2011

Scrapfest! is over and I've fully recuperated.   I worked on scrapbooking the pictures from earlier this year when my aunt and her daughter came to visit my Mama.   I bought 3 kits from one of my favorite vendors, Treasured Memories, which made the fun go quicker because the design elements were already done.

Using left overs from one of the kits, I was able to scrapbook a day trip this summer to the Saints Training Camp and a trip to the snowball stand.

Our group of "apron ladies" did a make-and-take together which was captured on camera, of course.
