All Grown Up at 24

Today is my youngest child's 24th birthday and he is all grown up and starting his new life with his new wife.  
I am playing with making pop-up cards after seeing the new Sizzix line of die cuts and how much they cost.  Here is my 24 year old's card.

 I just rearranged their 5 x7 engagement pictures to the guest bedroom and put up their new 11 x 14 wedding portrait.   We will celebrate his birthday together this weekend.  Happy Birthday Son of Mine!

After this picture was taken I added some embellishments to 2 frames.

To Love and Be Loved is Everything

My son asked his girlfriend to marry him and she said YES!!! Congratulations to you both and I am so happy you found each other.

Engagement and Anniversary

On November 1, 2009 my godchild, Erin, accepted the marriage proposal from her boyfriend, Thomas. They will enjoy a year of engagement and have set their wedding date for November 6, 2010. I finally sent them a congratulations card.


Tomorrow my DH and I will celebrate 34 years of marriage. With him being home more and me retired, it has made for a year of getting-to-know-you 24/7. I'm happy to say the marriage, once again, has survived another year. Happy Anniversary to us!
