Flowers in November

It is so hard to believe how many flowers are blooming in our yard! It looks more like spring than fall. The vase on Amelia's table is overflowing.

Fall in our yard is Pink

Traditionally colors of Fall are yellow and orange but in our yard it is PINK.
The majority of the pink blooms are from the Confederate Rose trees. The double blooms start out a pale pink and turn to a darker pink as the day goes on. The blooms only last one day but with so many buds we get blooms every day.

We have pink lilies blooming in our pond and, in the gardens, we have pink blooms on our azaleas and camellias. What the heck? It looks like spring around here.

Oh yes, we have red hibiscus too!

Fruit and Vegetables

In our yard Artie picked blackberries and says he is going to make a sauce.

He also pulled up the carrots and the last of the broccoli from the garden.

The "lipstick" plant is blooming and so are the magnolia and mimosa trees.

We had a swarm of bees hang around our house for several hours yesterday then they either died or flew away. It was pretty freaky for a while especially since I am deathly afraid of bees.

I took the bee pictures from my cover inside the house. I was making sure none got in.
