I love, love, love glitter paper but at $2 a sheet or more I hate to throw any scraps away. Sometimes I wonder if I have a problem about paper saving but recently I was thrilled I hadn't thrown out some red scraps. They made perfect Christmas bird wings for wine bottle tags.
Now aren't those bottle tags a great gift idea? I made Halloween tags for water bottles with a pocket to hold an orange flavor pouch. The Happy New Year tag is for champagne of course. Cheers to you!
I have so much Halloween embellishments collected over the years that I need to use them so I can restock with the really cute stuff on sale now. Now that is scary behavior.

I was part of a Halloween card swap ... this is the card I made:
September has 2 big paper craft events to get ready for. First is Scrapfest! where I like to work on scrapbooking all the pictures I've taken the last year. I've ordered about 200 pictures from Shutterfly so before Scrapfest I need to organize them and round up the paper and cardstock I want to use. That event is Sept. 15, 16 and 17.
Second is an annual craft fair at my old high school, Archbishop Chapelle, where I sell my handmade greeting cards. I share a booth with my sister who sells her crocheted baby blankets. I need to take inventory of my cards and if I need to make more then now is the time to do it. That event is Sept. 24.
Here are a few cards I've made that will be sold for $2.
This past week I worked on cards for Halloween, Autumn and Thanksgiving. The pattern papers I used for them made the creativity a snap. I also was able to "play" with some of the new stamps I bought in New York.
I made this paper pumpkin at Lynn's November card class. It was made with strips of 1 inch by 8 1/2 size paper with a ribbon through the middle. More could be made with different size strips. Think of the possibilities of Christmas ornaments using different design papers and GLITTER!
Susan is a friendly witch and Jerry is wearing a John McCain mask but notice the scary man inside next to the ghost. It is my DH (dear husband) looking out to see what we were doing. I didn't notice my DH in the picture until my DS (dear sister) pointed it out to me. Cracks me up.
